Aditya Jaykumar: Hi Stacey! Can you start by telling us a little about yourself?

Stacey ChillemiHi, My name is Stacey Chillemi and I am the author of the book, The Complete Guide to Natural Healing: A Natural Approach to Healing the Body and Maintaining Optimal Health Using Herbal Supplements, Vitamins, Minerals, Fruits, Vegetables and Alternative Medicine. My passion is helping others discover the surprising secrets to healing the body and maintaining excellent health for life. I have dedicated my life to the field of health, alternative medicine, and herbal medicine. My mission is to educate others and share with them the natural remedies to stay healthy, restore health, and look and feel younger.

I am in the process of launching my new book, “Natural Remedies for Common Conditions which is about How to Prevent, Heal, and Maintain Optimum Health this book will come out into publication this at the end of this month.

Aditya Jaykumar: What’s your favorite inspirational quote? Give us an example of how you apply this quote to your everyday life?

Stacey Chillemi: “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.” – Henry David Thoreau

Aditya Jaykumar: What is the main focus at this point in your life?

Stacey Chillemi: My main focus at this point of my life is to Stay connect with myself.  Staying in touch with our spirituality can make us happier and bring peace into our lives. Living happily depends on how we are in our inner lives – our thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and desires. Having a strong spiritual connection can bring a sense of inner peace – both peace of mind and peace in the heart. It also means allowing our inner values to guide how we interact with the world around us – our concern for others, our connection with the natural world and our interest in making a positive contribution to society.  So I make it a priority to maintain a strong connection with my mind, body, and soul and use my happiness, inner peace, and knowledge to help others.

Aditya Jaykumar: What is the significance of Chakras in your practice?

Stacey Chillemi:  I use the Chakras to keep balance in my life.  I start off with meditation in the morning to clear my thought and dispel any negative energy.  When I’m done I feel focused and I look at life with a positive outlook.  Those positive energies I carry rub off to my family, friends and the people around me.  Then I do some yoga which makes me fill energetic and fulfilled.  Afterward, I feel like I could accomplish anything.

Meditation and Yoga make me feel very appreciative of life and the things I am blessed with in life.

Aditya Jaykumar: How did you actually get into this practice? What were u doing before you embarked on this journey? Tell us your story behind it.

Stacey Chillemi:   I developed epilepsy at the age of five.  I had struggled with this illness all my life.  Many years ago, I began working for a herbalist and I became very interested in herbals.

I began detoxifying my body, changed my lifestyle (eating, sleeping), incorporated meditation and yoga into my life; In addition, I began cleansing my body from all negative energies.  Amazingly, I went from nine seizures a month, down to 6, then 5, then 3 to 1 then to none.  I now have been seizure free for over 15 years.

This is what drew my interesting healing the body.

Aditya Jaykumar: What are certain benefits that a person could obtain in the short-term and long term basis?

Stacey Chillemi:   Improved health and well-being, developing confidence and high self-esteem and looking at life and their surroundings from a whole different perspective.  I don’t view life the way I did 20 years ago.

Aditya Jaykumar: What is your biggest and most inspiring client or student healing story till date?

Stacey Chillemi:    I had created a program to help cope with epilepsy.  The program helped others accept themselves, love themselves and I showed them how to draw in the positive energies in life and use them no help yourself and others.

This person told me that they were on the verge of suicide.  They wanted to give up on life, but when he followed my regimens his life turned around.  He had developed a purpose and a will to live.  His whole life turned around.

Aditya Jaykumar: What are certain things a person needs to keep in mind before getting into your practice?

Stacey Chillemi: Everything takes time, dedication and hard work, but if you have a desire to help others heal then follow your dreams, work hard and your dream will become a reality.  It’s a very rewarding experience.  

Aditya Jaykumar:  What is one highly beneficial health advice or tip that you could share with our audience, which can be implemented immediately?

Stacey ChillemiTake time to go outside and breathe the fresh air, look around and listen to the sounds around you (birds, animals, wind etc..)

Look up into the clouds and try to grasp the meanings behind it.  Appreciate the life, the beauty that surrounds you.

Aditya Jaykumar: Tell us about a time when you faced a major challenge or barrier. What were you feeling at that instant and then how did you approach or overcome that challenge?

Stacey Chillemi:  Overcoming epilepsy way one of my biggest life challenges.  I wasn’t able to do many things that I wanted to in life, but I wasn’t going to let me down.  In addition, I knew I had a purpose in life.  I was determined to succeed and figure my true purpose in life.  We all have one.

Aditya Jaykumar: What is it that 1 major life lesson you want our listeners to take away from your story?

Stacey Chillemi:  Never give up on life, stay balanced, stay focused and always follow your inner instincts. Your inner instincts will never guide you wrong.

Aditya Jaykumar: Have you found your calling? If yes, what is your calling?

Stacey Chillemi:  I have.  My true purpose in life is to help others and bring happiness and hope into people’s lives.

Aditya Jaykumar: What is that one story that you can share with our listeners about that magical moment when you found your calling? Let’s hear your story!

Stacey Chillemi:  For years I battled and wondered what my true calling was then I started writing and I received so many letters and emails on how my words of wisdom had such a huge impact in their lives.  I never thought words could be so powerful and the rewarding feeling it gave me to be able to help others was just unbelievable.  I knew then that this was my true calling.

Aditya Jaykumar: What is the best advice you have ever received?

Stacey Chillemi:  The best advice I have ever received was:

  • Never feel like you failed. You cannot fail in life as long as try.
  • Do your best and take each day one day at a time.
  • The past is unchangeable – therefor there is no reason to dwell in the past.
  • The present is now. Use today to make the most out of your life because what you do today will affect your future.
  • And live each day like it was your last because we only assume we will be here tomorrow, but no one knows what the future actually holds and how long life has in store for you.

Aditya Jaykumar: If you had to recommend a personal habit that contributes to your well-being, what would that be?

Stacey Chillemi:  I never lose ground; I always remember where I came from in life and the obstacle I had climbed in order to get there.  I always appreciate everything around me and I never take anything for granted.

Aditya Jaykumar: Please describe the first 2 hours of your day. What is your morning ritual?
